You don't need to join a club in order to participate in volkssports, but it can have it's advantages.  Here are some of the benefits of joining Twin Cities' Volkssports:

• $0.50 discount on all TCV walks
• discounts on club awards
• an event booklet (mailed to you at the start of the year)
• the quarterly newsletter
• the annual meeting
• access to the members-only section of this website, which contains route photos, summaries of past events, articles about upcoming events, opportunities to get to know other members, and resources for walk organizers/POCs

The cost of membership for one calendar year is:

• $7 for an individual
• $10 for a household
• $15 for a "patron" membership
• $50 for a corporate membership

To join, you can either pick up a membership application at one of our events, use the copy in the back of the event booklet, or click here and then print a copy of the application.

*Note: According to the club bylaws, members are expected to be active supporters of the club.  Individual and Family Memberships are for "members who have helped in the past membership year and/or will help with events in the next membership year." The "Patron Membership" is for individuals who want "the option of assisting with events." These rules have not been strictly enforced in recent years, but members are still strongly encouraged to offer suggestions for walk locations or volunteer at events.
